Khaled Al Saadi
Chef Khaled Al Saadi is one of the most highly regarded Emirati chefs in the UAE. His interest in the culinary field began at the age of 25 years old, when he started to learn more about perfecting the cooking techniques of various ingredients. He later developed a strong passion for cooking and pursued the path of fine dining, which the preparation of food is executed at much higher standards the usual cooking techniques. This style of cooking requires a high level of skill and training, which Khaled was able to gain through his strong determination and effort to succeed in his field.
Over the past few years, Khaled has worked with many top chefs at some of the leading five-star restaurants in the UAE including Gordon Ramsay’s Breadstreet Kitchen, Ossiano at Atlantis the Palm as well as BOCA in DIFC, where his menus included a perfect fusion of flavours & textures.
As a result of his passion, perseverance and success in the culinary field, Khaled co-founded Fa’e Café which is located at the Abu Dhabi Youth Hub. The café opened its door at the start of 2020 and is inspired by the spirit of the Ghaf Tree, which is the national tree of the UAE. The menu includes a wide variety of dishes and all ingredients used are locally sourced within the UAE. Through his contribution to the culinary field, Khaled’s vision is to promote sustainability in the food consumption practices within the UAE.
